Vincent’s Success Story

Vincent Okumu is an  Orphan and Vulnerable (OVC) enrolled in DEVLINK Orphan and Vulnerable (OVC ) Program, their household was provided with Vertical bag to support them in establishing modern kitchen as it was identified during assessment that parents of  couldn't provide two meals per day for the family. Through this intervention the family now has well established kitchen garden which provide the family with sufficient leafy vegetable which is being used for family meals, they also have surplus which they sell to their neighbors the money which is being used to supplement other diet.

Due to the impact that this intervention has made in Vincent's life he has decided during this period when the schools have been closed due to COVID 19 pandemic, he will be assisting his father who is disable to manage the garden which has been a benefit to them.
